<aside> ๐Ÿ“Œ At Orb, we view communities as a fundamental element of the new Internet.

Recognizing the immense power of user-owned communities, we're excited to invite everyone to collaborate with us through Orb Clubs.

Orb Clubs are onchain communities where individuals come together around shared interests, themes, or concepts, empowered to take collective action.

Each club is equipped with its own treasury, token, and a route to decentralization, tailored to meet the specific aspirations of each club owner.

For Users

Communities are as diverse as the individuals who form them, so we've designed Clubs to be adaptable and accommodating to many types of clubs. We let you choose. Clubs can help you to find your people, create a space for your audience, or can even be used as a tool for growth or distribution.

Clubs provide the option of open access or gated entry, giving club owners the freedom to determine how public or private their group should be.

Each club is equipped with a multisig treasury and can be linked to its own token, offering creators greater autonomy to monetize in ways that suit them while providing a financial foundation to support and sustain the community's future.

Clubs are built to evolve. Club owners have the flexibility to dynamically adjust their structure and governance to align with member needs and external conditions. It's important to note that ownership can be revoked or transferred to a multisig controlled by the members. This adaptability ensures that your club can thrive and adapt to meet your evolving needs.

For Builders

We invite everyone to join us in building Clubs. Our commitment extends beyond seamless integration; we actively encourage and support other applications to collaborate with us, recognizing that working together offers unique advantages and opportunities that may not be achievable solely within Orb. Building together will foster robust communities, accelerate development, and spark new ideas. Through our upcoming smart contract-level solutions, builders will be able to introduce innovative features that enhance the community aspect, benefiting all members.

As we continue to explore experimental features like namespaces, enhanced discoverability, and user-driven club creation, we recognize that Clubs are still evolving. These experimental initiatives are vital as we assess their broader applicability and scalability, ensuring that we remain aligned with our vision for community-driven, decentralized environments even as we innovate.
